Origin and Philosophy of Lunari
Eco-Domes

"Eco-Luxury in Every Moon Phase."

Architectural Inspiration with Space DNA

In the 1980s, Iranian architect Nader Khalili proposed a method to NASA for building habitats on the Moon using regolith (lunar soil). His technique, known as Superadobe, combines bags of earth, lime, and barbed wire to create curved, resistant, and low-environmental-impact structures.

Although NASA did not apply this method in its missions, its architectural legacy was adapted to Earth, giving rise to a revolutionary form of sustainable construction. Today, Lunari adopts this philosophy to become a benchmark for conscious eco-luxury in the Caribbean.

Our Philosophy

Lunari is born from the Moon: a universal symbol of transformation, serenity, and balance. The name evokes a vision that combines cosmic inspiration with earthly purpose: to offer sustainable, authentic, and profoundly significant hospitality experiences.

Lunari is more than an architectural project; it is a life vision. A concept that reflects Miguel’s journey: from the foundations of his childhood, marked by his parents’ example, to a futuristic hospitality proposal in harmony with the environment.

Lunari is not a fantasy; it is a reality built with purpose. It is a project where the dreams of hospitality, sustainability, and return on investment converge. A new icon of premium ecotourism in the Caribbean, born from a clear vision: to show that the truly extraordinary is built from the most essential.

From Earth to the Moon: The Vision of Miguel Germán

Miguel Germán

Founder & Visionary
The Perfect Balance: Builder and Entrepreneur

From a very young age, Miguel Germán lived between two worlds that shaped him as an integral entrepreneur. On one hand, he learned the art of construction with his father, José Miguel Germán, a master builder who taught him from the age of 13 the value of hard work, precision, and long-term vision. On the other hand, he grew up alongside his mother, Loida Altagracia Jiménez, a natural-born entrepreneur, who instilled in him commercial instinct, decision-making under pressure, and the financial management of small and medium-sized businesses. This balance between technical vision and commercial spirit is what defines Miguel’s leadership today: a combination of the practical, the emotional, and the entrepreneurial.

Career and Professional Consolidation

Miguel has developed a versatile and progressive career: construction experience since adolescence; operator at Eaton Corporation (free trade zone) while studying Industrial Engineering; Team Leader at Accumed Innovative Technologies; and a hospitality career certified by A&B Master, with experience at Paradisus Palma Real (Meliá) and currently on the international staff of Carnival Cruise Line. His work life has allowed him to know, lead, and serve in multicultural environments, which he now applies to his largest project to date: Lunari Eco-Domos.

Lunari is not a hotel. It's a statement of principles.
